Provider Course: Comprehensive Prehospital Trauma Training
Safe Health Educators presents the 16-hour Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Provider Course designed for emergency medical responders, EMTs, Paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, and physicians. This detailed training is available at Basic, Advanced, or Combined levels. We even offer specialized Military Provider courses.
Our PHTLS Provider Course can be conducted in one of two formats. You can choose the traditional onsite format, featuring a mix of instructive lectures and practical skill stations. Alternatively, we offer a hybrid format where a substantial part of the course is delivered online through an interactive, web-based platform. This is then complemented by a one-day face-to-face session for skill station instructions and evaluations.
Refresher Course: Maintain Your Proficiency
We also offer an 8-hour Refresher Course for those who have successfully completed the respective PHTLS provider course within the past four years. This course is available at Basic, Advanced, or Combined levels, and we have a Military refresher course as well. To enroll in the Refresher Course, a current PHTLS provider certificate or wallet card is required.
Trauma First Response: Essential Training for First Responders
The Trauma First Response is an 8-hour course designed for emergency medical responders, police officers, firefighters, rescue personnel, and safety officers. This course equips you with the necessary skills to provide care to trauma patients until EMS personnel arrive. It ensures that you're adequately prepared to offer critical care during those crucial first minutes after a traumatic event.
